This project for Delhaize group was about a full redesign of their e-commerce platform.

The navigation needed of course to be responsive and modernised but the real challenge was about information architecture and the content strategy that needed to reflect the experience in the multiple physical shops throughout Belgium.

​

The funny thing is: all shops had different inventory, different classification, different prices for identical products, different delivery propositions... 

​

So what does that teach us? 

 

In a multi-year long project with multiple technical dependancies, correctly annotating wireframes for easy handoff with business analysts helps check that features are as per specs.
