Designing a home comfort app allowing to regulate temperature in your home depending on your activities.
Working on mobile apps forces to focus on the essential
This was a complex work on many different levels:
- the app was to provide installation instructions to users as an onboarding experience
- professional installers were to use the same app in their day to day work, so it needed to cover all possible use cases and not only be user friendly for the general public
- brand identity needed to be created from scratch
The breakthrough for this project happened when we organised the experience around a dashboard, providing the user with a recap of current status and a list of all activities that happened prior alongside a visual timeline.
The rest of the user flows were then much easier to integrate.
